Meet Tammy and Sarah Garrett.
This mother-daughter duo covers each other's bases when it comes to creativity and chaos. Tammy had an idea to share her caramel corn with others and Sarah excitedly helped her bring that idea to life! While one may be in the kitchen and the other behind a screen, this pair works well together and laughs a whole lot throughout the process.
Tammy is a former stay-at-home homeschool mom of two, wife, co-founder of Father's House Ghana, part-time nanny, and full-time lover of the Lord. She enjoys reading, writing, and spending time outside by a lake, river, or stream. (She just really has a thing for natural bodies of water.) While working, Tammy can usually be found listening to podcasts.
Sarah is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University and is living in the mountains of Boone, NC where she serves the college through campus ministry. She enjoys music, discipleship, card games, and anything that allows her to be creative. While working, you can expect Sarah to have a medical drama playing in the background.

Nearly everyone who tried it uttered the words 'Oh wow... This is the best caramel popcorn I've ever had.' Myself included.

"My mom first made this caramel popcorn when I was in middle school. It immediately became a crowd favorite and she brought it to every potluck, holiday party, and family gathering. Nearly everyone who tried it uttered the words 'Oh wow... This is the best caramel popcorn I've ever had.' Myself included.
I sometimes helped her make it (or at least came in the kitchen to eat a few pieces off of the pan while it was still warm.) My friends raved about the caramel popcorn that had quickly become her signature dessert/snack. When Christmastime was approaching or events were coming up, friends would ask, 'Is Mama Tammy making her caramel popcorn?!' And she always happily obliged.
It's been almost ten years since those first batches, but the enthusiasm around this treat remains the same. I still get just as excited to sit around the kitchen table with a fresh bowl of caramel corn. I'm so happy my mama is choosing to share this with even more people. I hope you enjoy your caramel corn and that perhaps sharing it with others will create beautiful memories for you just like it has for me!"
